Putting a Q with an A.

Posted in Shows at 4:14 am by The ZD

I decided to do my first Q&A show given all the questions and feedback that has come in. If your question isn’t answered in this show, it will certainly be answered in a future Q&A session/show.

Putting a Q with an A.
In this show, I take feedback from the listeners out there and answer some questions you’ve sent in. You’ll hear how being a jerk right away might be ok. You’ll hear what elements you should have in your conversation when talking to a woman. Finally you’ll hear how to get the right number from the girl everytime (no wrong numbers here) :)

Maybe you should get a better sound card. Oh and if you want to remove the pops and stuff from the microphone make yourself a mic standard or something and make/buy a popper stopper. It’s explained here:

Also check out the part2 of the thing, because they explain how to make the sound more perfect. The browse-menu’s on the right.

yeah a better soundcard often makes sense; but better-quality soundcards often have no mic in, which means you need a mic preamp. external mic-preamps and d/a-converters are a better solution quality-wise anyway, but they cost more.

one possible source for hissing/humming noise is electromagnetic signal leak from within your computer, and you fix that by having better equipment (i.e. a better soundcard), or even an external soundcard (usb soundcards aren’t that expensive, and probably usable enough for your simple needs).

another source can be grounding issues; when I plug my computer into my stereo I hear a 50 Hz hum. this can be fixed by using a ground loop isolator which only cost me a couple of Euros.
