I listened to this show. It’s a decent attempt. Keep at it.

However, I want to let you know that one bit of advice you offered here is disastrously wrong. You advised your listeners that if a guy approaches a group of women and try to strike up a conversation, if he repeatedly gets ignored, he should then turn to his “wing man” (sounds like a cross between an accomplice and a Greek chorus) and start mocking/insulting the women in retaliation.

You said this help’s preserve the guy’s “social value.” Wrong. It does exactly the opposite. Such behavior makes the guy look insecure, mean-spirited, rude, self-centered, and petty. If anything, that causes his social value to plummet through the earth’s crust.

A better approach would be to learn to handle a social rejection gracefully and to not take it personally. Just quietly walk away. Know that there are all sorts of reasons why a woman or a group of women might not be interested in conversing with a particular guy at a particular moment. Those reasons usually have nothing at all to do with the guy!

Guys who master this bit of social etiquette will more often than not get a second chance later. The jerk who turns to his friend/security blanket in a frantic effort to rescue his ego and reaffirm his exaggerated sense of entitlement will be written off permanently by every woman in earshot.

    Food for thought,
